Another feather in IQ’s off-shore cap

IQ was commissioned to create a solution to role out technology to doctors and medical specialists. In addition, a directory service, not unlike the yellow-pages, was created.

IQ wins Sunguard Development Contract

SunGard is a global leader in integrated IT solutions for the financial services industry and has a significant installed base among South African institutions.

The agreement is the first step towards establishing an outsource development and process centre for SunGard Employee Benefit Systems in South Africa, to be run by The IQ Business Group. The facility will allow SunGard Employee Benefit Systems to sell offshore development services on behalf of its clients and other operating groups within the company.

IQ implements FileNet at Liberty Group

This development, believed to be the first in Africa, is expected to revolutionize document processes at the insurance giant, and contribute to a more efficient and streamlined business.

In late 2002, Liberty consultant for Group Architecture Services, Peter Sklair identified several areas for improvement to the business’s document storage system. While Sklair found the Optical Storage Array (OSAR) technology adequate for storing documents, he felt the company could benefit from some system enhancements.
