Dirk Ackerman
Executive Director (IQ Management)
Dirk Ackerman is Chairman and CEO of the Board for IQ. Dirk has more than 20 years of executive experience in the banking, financial services, property management and development, public utilities, information technology and business consultancy industries.
He serves on numerous boards of blue chip listed and non-listed companies, both locally and internationally, in the public and private sectors. He has a seasoned track record of business success.
In addition to Dirk’s commercial experience, he has been an active member of the Institute of Directors, a trustee on the Endangered Wildlife Trust, a founder member of the South African Tourism Business Council and is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation.
Pieter van Tonder
Executive Director (IQ Management)
Pieter van Tonder is IQ’s Chief Financial Officer. In addition to serving on the IQ Board, Pieter brings more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions in various industries. As a Chartered Accountant by profession, he gained extensive experience spending seven years with a leading international accounting firm.
In early 2000, Pieter accepted a position as Group Chief Financial Officer of The IQ Business Group, a dynamic, fast-growing, process-focused consulting firm expanding rapidly in the local and international market. He serves on various local and international boards in Africa, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. Pieter continues to apply his vast knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, as well as extensive experience and understanding of good corporate governance principles and all matters financial.
In addition to his commercial experience, Pieter is an active member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa.
Vincent Raseroka
Executive Director (IQ Management)
Vincent joined the IQ Board of Directors in 2007. He is a prominent South African businessman who played a role in a number of blue chip companies prior to joining The IQ Business Group.
Dr Ashwin Hurribunce
Executive Director (IQ Management)
Ashwin has recently been appointed to the IQ Board of Directors. Since joining IQ in 2006, he has been involved in a number of portfolios within the business, including heading up both the Public Sector and Healthcare Practices.
Ashwin has been operating at the level of highest decision making in Public Services for the most part of his 22 years of service. His duties also took him onto the global stage where he was a member of many top-level delegations that crafted numerous bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements, including the creation of conditions for mutual country level business interests. He continues to operate within the privileges of being a commissioned General Officer both nationally and internationally.
Adam Craker
Chief Executive Officer, South Africa
Adam Craker is Chief Executive Officer of IQ South Africa and an Executive Board member of IQ Group.
Adam has more than twenty-two years experience in the Supply Chain, Technology Services, Consulting and Utility industries in South Africa, Europe the USA and Asia. His experience comprises ten years in corporate and executive director positions, ten years in consulting and two years in consumer and industrial marketing.
Adam gained his MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1996 and previously graduated in 1989 from the University of Warwick in the UK with a B.Sc. (First Class) in Management and Computer Science. He has also gained the Diploma in Marketing Studies (Dip.M.) from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is now a Member (MCIM). Adam is an active member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO).
